The Arab Board of Education, on the recommendation of Superintendent John Mullins, hired Brad Stapler as the school system’s career technical education coordinator and assistant principal at Arab High School.
Stapler will be employed on a 240-day contract, effective June 17.
Stapler, the husband of Arab High School girls golf coach and PE teacher Emily Stapler, is currently the principal at Brewer High School and was previously the principal at Cotaco where he taught and coached prior to that.
According to Mullins, Brad Kitchens, who filled in this year as an AHS assistant principal, will be returning to his duties in the central office.
“Brad is always willing to serve wherever he is needed and has always done so with great diligence and care,” said Mullins.
