Arab First Baptist Church is in the process of searching for a new pastor.

Dr. Clint Landry accepted the position as pastor of Foley First Baptist Church and officially resigned his position in Arab, effective May 21.

According to AFBC Chairman of Deacons Steve Dumas, the search for an interim pastor as well as a full time pastor will begin immediately.

Sunday, May19, will be bittersweet for Landry.

“This is an exciting time, but a sad time as well. Arab was a wonderful community to call home and raise children the last four-and-a-half years,” he said.

Landry and his wife, Suzanne, have three children – Maggie, Joseph and Ameila, who was only 3 when the Landrys moved to Arab in 2014.
