The fifth annual Fire on the Mountain Festival is today (Saturday) at Arab City Park. It’ll go from 8 a.m. until about 6 p.m.

It includes a BBQ competition, corn hole tournament, live entertainment, food and merchandise vendors, bounce houses for the kids and more.

There is no admission cost.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Four-C and Tri-County Volunteer Fire Departments.

The BBQ competition has 19 teams entered. They’ll be smoking pork, chicken, ribs and desserts.
