Due to a combination of COVID 19 and the potential for bad weather, the 2020 Arab Christmas Parade was canceled.

It had been scheduled for tonight (Thursday – Dec. 3).

“In a year like no other, 2020 has forced many of us to make hard decisions,” said an announcement from the Arab Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the parade. “Making these decisions is not fun, nor are they made in haste.

“With a surge in Covid-19 cases and a wintry mix forecast against us, it is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Arab Christmas Parade,” the announcement continued. “Many factors have been considered prior to making this decision – most importantly – the health and safety of our community. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s parade. We truly wish you a very Merry Christmas!”
