There could be a change in the way grade point averages are figured, following the first reading of an amendment to Arab City Schools’ class ranking policy during the recent Arab Board of Education meeting.

Arab High School does not utilize class rank other than for the purposes of recognizing and reporting the class valedictorian, salutatorian or for scholarship paperwork, meaning those figures are extremely important for a student seeking an academic scholarship.
