As expected the Arab City Board of Education approved the fiscal year 2020 budget Thursday, following a required second hearing.

“The budget for the coming year is virtually the same as was presented at the last hearing,” said Adrian Cook, the school district’s financial officer.

Projected revenues for the general fund are $20,435,286 with expenses expected to be $27,831 more. Revenues for the capital fund are expected to be $2,100,780 with expenses some $20,900 less.
