John Robert Bardin, the man shot by Arab Police a few weeks ago, was released from Huntsville Hospital Friday and taken to Marshall County Jail. Also Friday, the two Arab police officers involved in the shooting returned to work.

Bardin, 39, is charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer, one count of attempting to disarm a police officer and one count of resisting arrest.

He is in Marshall County Jail under a $100,000 bond.

The two Arab officers involved in the shooting haven’t been identified yet.

APD Chief Ed Ralston said the two were cleared by the local shooting review board following a hearing last week.
