Marshall County 4-H agent Kristen Roberson of Arab was elected president of the Alabama Association of Extension 4-H Agents (ALAE4-HA) at its annual conference recently held in Sylacauga.

ALAE4-HA is a professional organization of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, which is the primary outreach program of Auburn and Alabama A&M Universities.

She has also served as junior and senior director, vice president and president-elect while a member of the organization.

In 2016, Roberson received the Achievement in Service award by ALAE4-HA and the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents.

She has also received state awards for published photos and news story. She currently serves on the public relations and information committee on the National 4-H Agent’s Association as well.
