Arab Junior High

Amelia Thrower, left, is the Arab Junior High School Spelling Bee winner for 2019-20. Amelia, a seventh grader, is last year’s Marshall County Spelling Bee winner. She will again advance to the next level on Jan. 31. She is the daughter of Brett and Kelly Thrower. The alternate, Brionna Cox, daughter of Robert Cox and Cynthia McCain, will compete in the county bee in the event that Amelia is unable to compete. She is a sixth grader.
