Traffic congestion is always a concern when school begins each year at Arab Primary School. Administrators and PTO volunteers are working to inform parents of the correct procedures.
“Please be patient with us. We will work to establish the traffic patterns as quickly as we can,” said APS principal Scott Sutton.
School started today (Wednesday) in Arab.
Volunteers and teachers have to put Pre-K students in car seats and buckle them in, so afternoons are going to be a little hectic for a while, he said.
Preschool students will be released at 1:30 p.m. the first two weeks to help establish the traffic pattern. Kindergarten through second grade students will be released at 2:05 p.m. for the first two weeks of school.
