For the month of April, Arab received a surplus of rain. At Pine Lake Village, Ed Reed measured 6.36 inches. The average since 1989, according to Tribune records, is 5.27 inches for the month of April.

That’s a surplus of 1.09 inches for the month.

So far in 2019, Reed has measured:

• January – 7.91;

• February – 12.36;

• March – 4.92;

• April – 6.36;

• Total – 31.55.

So far, in 2019, the area has a surplus of 7.64 inches of rain, mainly thanks to a 6.36-inch surplus in February alone.

The Tribune’s other weather watchers measured between 3.62 inches and 6.24 inches in April.
