There are many places in Arab to become part of the conversations that circulate regarding not only the status of national news but also the re-telling and invention of new and innovative local tidbits.

There are groups that informally gather each morning to have coffee at McDonald’s, ZaX, Burger King, Latham’s Drugs and other locales where seats and “java” are available.

Of course, there are internet sites that specialize in spreading the latest gossip, and if that does not satisfy you, there are always “talk” programs on television.

When people hear nasty gossip, they put so much stock in it that they’ll even ignore the evidence of their own eyes or ears, according to The New York Times.
