I took a little hiatus from writing my opinion pieces because I was considering applying for the Arab Public Library director position. But I will write about that another time.

This piece is about the stepping down of Brian Quillin from Arab Musical Theatre (AMT).

For those of you who have never seen a production by AMT, you have missed, missed and missed again one of the best things this city has to offer. Truly a hidden gem, I was honored to be a witness to and volunteer for three years of productions.

My oldest son was privileged to be a member of the cast awarded an invitation to perform on the coveted Main Stage of the prestigious International Thespian Festival in 2012 with the “Pippin” production.
