It’s not in the paper today, so don’t spend any time looking for it.

I’m just not feeling very funny. Some of y’all never have thought I was very funny, anyway.

Today is the day I usually have a little fun and put a story or two in the paper that’s not true at all.

In fact, the stories are usually outrageous.

Of course, I’m referring to my annual April Fool’s stories.

I try to make them funny – well, they’re usually funny once you realize they aren’t true.

But this year, I’m just not feeling that funny.

The COVID-19, or coronavirus pandemic has a lot of people not feeling very funny.

It’s all so scary.

Listen to your doctors. They’re warning you to take it very seriously, so please do.

Follow their advice. Follow the advice coming from the Centers for Disease Control and Alabama Department of Public Health.

Do what they say. It’s important to your and your family and, well, and to the rest of us.

So, yeah, I’m just not feeling that funny this April Fool’s Day.
