The local Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is the last chapter in Marshall County to centrally locate to Guntersville to better serve Marshall County Veterans’ needs.

With 320 members, we are the second largest veteran organization in the city just behind the Boaz VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars).

Unlike other veteran organizations, the DAV spends more than 95 percent of our time, effort and funds supporting veterans in general and sick, disabled and needy veterans, their widows and orphans.

The DAV, Frank L. Bradford Chapter 118 of Marshall County meets on the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany on Sunset Drive in Guntersville.

Our chapter service officer is at the Boaz Public Library each Tuesday; the Albertville Public Library the first and third Wednesday and the Guntersville Public Library each Thursday – from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. (closed for lunch from 1-2 p.m.).
